GREEN RIVER COUNTRY CLUB
15TH Green at GRCC
This little known course is situated just south of the North Carolina state line on the outskirts of the small town of Chesterfield, SC. Surrounded by mature pine and hardwood forest, there are only sights and sounds from mother nature and your fellow golfers. Walking is permitted, but you may find the back nine to be a bit more of a challenge than the front. The front nine is relatively flat, somewhat forgiving and has a few parallel fairways. The back nine is a test for golfers of all skill levels. Although more changes in elevation than the front nine, doglegs both left and right and multiple ponds will hold your attention.
Golf at Green River, means golf in quiet surroundings, and an uncrowded course. The course is at its finest in mid to late summer when the bermudagrass fairways and greens can enjoy the heat and an occasional evening thunderstorm.
The course is challenging, is a lot of fun to play and provides a good test of golf for players of all skill levels. No tee time is required and guests are welcome.
